What are the characteristics of investment casting technology?
熔模精密铸造生产具有许多优点，但其同时具有工序多，工艺过程复杂，生产周期长，影响铸件质量的因素较多的缺点，在一定程度上制约了精密铸造的应用和发展。随着计算机技术的快速发展，计算机技术在精铸中的应用，从精铸件的结构设计、工艺制定到压型设计与制造、蜡模成型、型壳制造、型芯的制造等，给精铸件的生产带来了巨大变革。
Investment casting has many advantages, but at the same time it has many processes, complex process, long production cycle, and many factors affecting the quality of castings, which to some extent restricts the application and development of precision casting. With the rapid development of computer technology, the application of computer technology in precision casting has brought great changes to the production of precision castings, from the structural design, process formulation to die design and manufacturing, wax mold forming, shell manufacturing and core manufacturing.

熔模铸件向更轻、薄及精整化方向发展，近年来提出了净形或近净形化铸造，以发挥熔模铸造的优势，满足现代工业对高质量零件的需求。这就要求熔模精铸件的结构更加合理，制定的工艺方案更加优化，对精铸技术提出了越来越高的要求。
Investment casting is developing towards lighter, thinner and finer. In recent years, net-shape or near-net-shape casting has been proposed to give full play to the advantages of investment casting and meet the needs of modern industry for high-quality parts. This requires the structure of investment casting to be more reasonable, the process plan to be formulated to be more optimized, and the investment casting technology has been put forward higher and higher requirements.
2.传统的精铸件生产工艺，包括以下5个步骤：

（1）铸件用户给铸造厂下达设计蓝图；

（2）铸造厂作预算并从利于生产和降低成本的角度对设计提出改进意见；

（3）铸造厂设计铸造工艺装备；

（4）铸造厂向模具车间或造型车间下达工装图纸；
